What Feurstagram keeps and blocks
Feurstagram patches the real Instagram Android app. Blocks are toggles you can change in the Feurstagram settings page (long-press Home, or the first visible tab if Home is hidden).
| Keep using | Blocked by default |
|---|---|
| Direct Messages | Home feed |
| Stories (toggleable) | Reels tab and Reels surfaces |
| Search and profiles | Explore and suggested accounts |
| Notifications | Ads and shopping preloads |
| Deep links | Analytics and telemetry (always on) |
Shared Reels and posts inside DMs still work. For a softer feed, leave Home unblocked and turn on Following feed only for a chronological list of accounts you follow.
Feurstagram on your phone
After you see what Feurstagram keeps and blocks, these screens show the blocked feed, settings toggles, Messages, and Quoicouview.
Classic APK or Clone APK
Each Feurstagram release ships two files.
- Classic APK keeps Instagram’s package ID (
com.instagram.android) and replaces the regular Instagram app. - Clone APK uses
com.instagram.android.feurstagramso it can sit beside the official Instagram app.
Choose Clone if you still want stock Instagram installed. Details and both files are on the download page.
Feurstagram requirements
Feurstagram 454.0.0.13.77 needs Android 9.0 or later on a device that can run the matching Instagram base build. The Classic APK is about 402.4 MB. You need enough free storage for the download and install, plus an Instagram account to sign in inside the app.
Android will warn about unknown apps because Feurstagram is not on Google Play. That is expected for sideloaded APKs. See the install guide.
What is new in Feurstagram 454.0.0.13.77
Feurstagram 454.0.0.13.77 (released November 1, 2026) targets the matching Instagram 454.0.0.13.77 base. It restores the Messages search bar in Quoicouview mode, fixes the story camera entry in that mode, and updates feed ad filtering for that Instagram build. Full notes and files are on the download page.
Safety and affiliation
Feurstagram does not collect, proxy, store, or transmit Instagram credentials. Login stays inside the Instagram app. The project is open source under the GNU GPL v3.0. You can build from source instead of using a prebuilt APK.
Feurstagram is not affiliated with Meta or Instagram. Using a modified client may conflict with Instagram's terms. This site is independent. Download buttons on this site use APK files hosted on apkdownloading.com.
Feurstagram questions
Is Feurstagram free?
Yes. Feurstagram is free and open source under the GNU GPL v3.0. Download the APK from this site’s download page, or build it yourself from source.
Does Feurstagram remove Instagram Reels?
Yes. Reels are blocked at the network level by default, and the Reels tab icon is hidden. You can change that toggle in Feurstagram settings.
Can I keep the official Instagram app installed?
Yes. Install the Clone APK, which uses a different package ID so it can sit beside stock Instagram.
